I work as the State Director for OM International which has more than 5500 workers in over 110 countries from 95 nations bringing the good news that Jesus saves to literally millions of people each year. Here in the Australian office we are proud to be an important part of that work offering training, finances and workers to fields all around the world. http://www.om.org.au . The two main roles of a State Director are MOBILISATION for the work of mission and MEMBER CARE – ensuring all of our workers are adequately and professionally cared for. I love my job because I get to hang around the most passionate people who are truly prepared to count the cost of following Jesus. My passion is to see others coached, equipped and trained to be effectively engaged in God’s mission to seek and save the lost.\r\n•\tFavourite hang – the front veranda with my wife Karon and home made “bucketochinos” \r\n•\tFavourite sports – playing or watching tennis, cheering the Sydney Swans & riding bikes with my 3 girls\r\n•\tFavourite read – always keen on the latest Matthew Reilly novel & some pure escapism\r\n•\tFavourite drive – anywhere in “Meg”, my 1968 model VW beetle.\r\n\r\n
