Question:
So there's this girl at my youth group, and we were pretty good friends, I mean we talked a bit and hung out over the summer. I was kinda into her, but it was pretty obvious she wasn't into me.
Anyways, early this fall I tried to text her a couple times and she would literally read the message and be on facebook for like the next 30 minutes and not respond.
This really annoyed me (as I'm someone who appreciates good communication VERY MUCH and couldn't understand why she seemed to basically be ignoring me), and I started to become bitter towards her. I realize how wrong that is, and so I asked God for forgiveness.
But it was still nagging me. So I sent her a message (out of the blue) saying I wanted to apologize because I was annoyed with her and ignoring her and that I was sorry, and saying that I hope she could forgive me.
Anyways, she read it and said nothing.
And we saw each other at various events and she said nothing about it.
And here I am growing confused about it. She acted like I never even sent the message.
And then she came over for the day, because she and my sister hang out. But I had no idea how to act around her: do I give her space? do I try and bring it up to resolve it? do I just ignore her? does her silence mean she forgives me, or hates me?
So I was cold. I didn't hang out with them (and if we were fine, I would definitely have hung out with them).
And now I feel even more guilty for ignoring her again and not trying to resolve the issue. It's really become a burden, but I don't know if I should keep playing games and try to apologize again to her for being cold or just leave it and realize she probably doesn't wanna be friends??? I AM SO LOST!!!!!
I'm sorry for ranting, but I really need some advice, and I've always trusted this site to give me godly, biblical based answers.
Thanks and God Bless.
