Activate your faith

Are you ready to trust God in every situation?

We all have some measure of faith, even those who reject God and Christianity. Dont believe me? Well believe it or not, we all exercise faith daily without even realizing it. For example, if you are reading this article on your computer or phone, then you are reading by faith. That is, you have faith that your technology will keep working until you’ve finished reading.

Need another example? How about walking. Yes, the majority of us do a lot of it on a daily basis. If you get up every morning and start walking around without fear of your legs not working, you are literally walking by faith.

Do you truly believe?

"I believe in Jesus..." People say they believe all the time. But is it just talk? When life’s circumstances arrive — good or bad — are you able to trust God? Do you truly believe in those times? Are you able to live with faith that nothing you face in life is too hard for God to handle?

And because life is full of more twist and turns than any movie, we should be prepared to use our faith. Instead of saying, "Oh God, why does this have to happen to me", we should activate our faith.

How do I activate my faith?

You can activate your faith by trusting God. By not only saying " I believe", but acting like you do. God wants us to trust him like Peter did when God asked him to walk on the water. Have enough faith to know he won't let you drown.

The Bible states in Deuteronomy 31:8: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” And Jesus Himself said in John 14:1, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me”.

So next time life’s circumstances occur, activate your faith. Pray to God for wisdom regarding your situation. Whatever the case maybe, trust that God is with you and by faith, be confident that he will see you through. God is an expert on humans. Remember he created us, and so we must have faith that he knows what is best for us in every situation.
